Formerly a garage, the Adams Street High Performance Design + Construction Training Facility is a "virgin-foam-free" deep-energy retrofit. The office is modeled to meet PHIUS+2015 and is substantially net positive. It will be the office for Auburndale Builders in Newton, MA, a remarkable team of dedicated and talented builders, who were also responsible for the Wayland Passive House. The office PV array surplus generation will serve the adjacent home in addition to the office energy demands.
