Baltimore faces a simultaneous crisis of high vacancy and degradation of its urban built environment and an affordable housing crisis. Conventional means of providing housing do not address the systemic legacy of community disinvestment and racism. We seek to create and alternative economic and social approach of regenerative community action, design, and reconstruction, leveraging the value inherent in the communities and resilient design practices.
